What is Login Functionality?

Login functionality is a core component of most modern websites, applications, and digital platforms. It serves as a secure access point for users, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access certain resources, features, or information. In simple terms, login functionality is the process through which a user authenticates themselves to gain access to a system.

Adding a Login Element to the Header in Elementor

  1. Edit the Header Template

    • Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > Header (or wherever your header template is located).

    • Click Edit with Elementor.

  2. Add the Login Element

    • In the Elementor editor, locate the section where you want the Login option to appear.

    • Drag and drop a Login widget (Valuepack addon).

Enable User Registration for Signup Form in WordPress

Before creating or displaying a signup form, make sure user registration is enabled in your WordPress settings:

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard
    Navigate to Settings > General.

  2. Enable Registration
    Under the Membership section, check the box labeled:
    “Anyone can register”.

  3. Set Default Role (Optional)
    From the dropdown labeled New User Default Role, select the appropriate role for new users (usually Subscriber or Customer for WooCommerce sites).

  4. Save Changes
    Click Save Changes to apply your settings.
