Add to Cart & Checkout System

In WooCommerce, the Add to Cart and Checkout system is the backbone of the shopping experience. It allows customers to select products, review them in their cart, and proceed with secure payments.

When a customer clicks Add to Cart, the product is saved into the cart for later review. From there, they can either continue shopping or go directly to checkout. The Checkout Page is where customers enter their billing/shipping details and complete the purchase.

Types of Carts in the Woomen Theme

The Woomen Theme provides three different types of cart styles to improve user experience:

1. Sticky Cart

• A cart that remains visible while scrolling.

• Gives quick access to cart contents without leaving the current page.

• Improves conversion by reducing steps for checkout.

2. Shopping Cart (Full Cart Page)

• The traditional cart page where all products are listed.

• Customers can update quantities, remove items, or apply coupons.

• Usually accessed before moving to the checkout page.

3. Mini Cart

• A small dropdown or sidebar cart that appears when a product is added.

• Customers can view cart items instantly without page reload.

• Saves time and enhances the shopping flow.
